I love warm weather, but all the kids are home from school while we have to work, so it is completely unfair. It's like, thirty degrees out right now. I drove my daughter to St. Albert for a play date and came back home (about half hour highway drive each way), and now I literally have to go and lay on my side in the sun so the tans on my arms actually match! It's crazy. But my basement is cool enough to wear sweaters, which at least provides relief. I can't wait until the storms start responding to all of the heat . . . .
I am still working at writing the last book in the Twisted Fate Series, Fate's Escape. At least I can say we've passed the halfway mark! My sister brought my books up and I finally unpacked them, and I've rediscovered a love for reading. It's so much easier to snap in and out of someone else's story when you are constantly on the go. I've decided to put up reviews for the books I've been reading (and rereading) on my other blog, Mythic Words. Now that soccer is over and Calli is heading to Saskatchewan for her Nana time while I stay here, however, I plan on digging back into the final installment of Twisted Fate. Hopefully, I can announce another publication date soon for everyone waiting to read Fate's Revenge, Disguise, and Escape. Cast from Power is getting ready for publication, too, which makes me so very happy. I can't wait to share that series.
